Ahmed N. Al-Zahrani is currently the manager of Saudi Aramco Industrial Development and Strategic Supply Department. In his role, Ahmed is leading the localization initiative (iktva Program), managing suppliers’ relationships, and developing long-term procurement agreements for strategic commodities.
With over 24 years of experience with Saudi Aramco, Ahmed’s other career highlights include leading Saudi Aramco Materials Logistics Department overseeing global materials logistics movements through air, sea and land routes. He also held various leadership positions within Procurement & Supply Chain. Ahmed served as the head of Aramco Overseas Company (AOC) office in Japan managing the Asia Pacific procurement and logistics activities
Ahmed holds a B.S. degree in Information Science and System from KFUPM and M.S. in Supply Chain Management from Pennsylvania State University (Penn State).
